Inspirational Poems
I am a leaf. See how I sway.
Here on my branch I am safe, for today.
A part of the whole, waving about,
I’d like to be noticed but never stand out.
Supple and springy I’ve summered up here,
The weather my playmate, and misty or clear
The view from my branch is a beautiful thing.
Breezes are tunes and sometimes I sing;
It sounds like a whisper but listen, it’s me,
Adding my voice to the song of the tree.
Golden as glory, I bud and I blaze -
Dancing like fire in mercurial ways.
I lived high above you. Did you notice at all?
I am a leaf. See now I fall.

COLOURED LEAVES OF AUTUMN
By Angel
Autumn leaves tumble to the ground
changing their color as they scatter around
My favorite colors can now be seen
Brown, red, orange, yellow and green
The wind blows through the scattered leaves
While they dance around in the breeze
Sunshine comes enriching their glow
To make the most of a spectacular show
The glistening leaves lay in a bed
The yellow and orange enhancing the red
The autumn season brings so much color
I just can’t wait to see another
Desire Like Autumn Wind Leaves
Heat of my desire like autumn wind leaves
Yesterdays going into oblivion night
Slowly motion circles of the wintry dull light
In are now the moments of flown away thrives
Nowhere is the morning coming in its eves
Connecting day to dark in its bereaves
Craving for the lark in its lonesome flight
Wonderments of summer has now left today
Frosty flowers cast move on now ahead
This is darkness tide - weaving dimly on!
Moments in the twilight to the shadows play
Autumn yellow leaves in their dreams have bled
Forest gentle wind with thankful songs done

It's Autumn Again
It’s autumn again
Leaves whisper the sound of our past
In loss they pay a descent
To the ground we fall
It’s autumn again
Our song is sung by the wind
Echoes of loss and grief
Through chilled air we wade
It’s autumn again
The waters grow as cold as our hearts
We are alike – crusted in ice
In ourselves we freeze
It’s autumn again
Flowers vanish from our sadness
Our beauty grows weak
Covered in frost we wither
It’s autumn again
The rain falls like our tears
Can’t dry our eyes
From the sky we descend
It’s autumn again
The sun shines then fails like us
Our sight becomes a wintry gray
Lost in darkness we will fade
It’s autumn again
